American Rust is an American crime drama TV series produced by Dan Futterman based on the novel of the same name by Philipp Meyer. The series was first released on September 12, 2021, on Showtime. The plot revolves around the tale of Chief of Police Del Harris.
He is struggling with his past sins instead of tracking a dangerous organization. Del is associated with the Brotherhood, an organization that assisted him in Grace’s son’s case. Therefore, the show’s narrative maintains its tendency to have severely flawed heroes on the verge of moral ambiguity with additional conflicts of interest.
