Season 3 of “IS IT CAKE?” is out and its fans are not over by the unique theme of the show. Which once took social media by storm, this trend has turned into an alluring reality where participants make amazing cakes that make viewers go into a frenzy whether they are real or fake cakes.
The American cooking game show/ competition is a unique show created by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz and hosted by Mikey Day. Is It Cake? series premiered on March 18, 2022. The contestants set a diverse range and variety of cakes which the judges have to identify in each round whether it is a cake or not.
The participants also get a whopping prize of over $100,000. The show started as a result of a widely shared viral internet craze in 2018 that featured seemingly commonplace objects—including animals—but, upon closer inspection, revealed themselves to be cakes.
Three competitors can compete by creating a cake in just eight hours that closely resembles an item chosen for that particular show. After that, three different sets of identical objects are shown to the celebrity judges in sets of five.
One cake made by a participant that day is included in each batch of five. If the judges correctly identify the object as a cake, the participant is removed from the show. And when participants can trick the judges many times then the winner is decided.
