‘You Won’t Be Alone was recorded in Serbia and surrounding areas, especially in the village of Pokrevenik. The recording was completed on December 10, 2020. Matthew Chuang, the cinematographer for ‘Blue Bayou,’ took over the role, while Bethany Ryan, whose previous credits incorporated ‘The Nerve’s artistic direction,’ directed the production project.

Slavko Kostadinović, head of the village, and other residents were very hospitable to the recording department. They even released worker film segments from their homes, warehouses, and pastures, while several sequences were taken in the surrounding forests.
The production unit built a home outside the village during their long stay there. As an act of thanks, they helped to repair old houses and barns, an entrance to the building, and an old ambulance.

While a series of series were filmed in the area, the team re-emerged several times, capturing the natural splendor of the area. A number of scenes were recorded at Mount Stara Planina, near the river Visočica (or Visochitsa), a tributary to the right of Temštica.
