‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ follows ‘Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald’ and the third part in the ‘Fantastic Beasts franchise.
A wonderful adventure film about Albus Dumbledore sending Newt Scamander and a team of witches, wizards, and a brave Muggle baker to the daunting task of stopping the black magician Gellert Grindelwald. On their journey, the team meets all kinds of animals – old and new -2 while having to face Grindelwald fans at the same time.
Hogwarts’ surreal and mysterious background is accompanied by a thrilling film narrative with magical characters, which keeps viewers stunned from start to finish. Therefore, it is natural for fans around the world to be curious about the places where ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore movie were recorded.
Where Was Adventure Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore Filmed?
‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ were recorded in several different parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil, and Bhutan, especially in England, Berlin, and Rio De Janeiro. Some of the parts also appeared to be recorded in China and the United States. Major photography was supposed to start in March 2020 but due to the Covid-19 epidemic, it was postponed a few months ahead.
Finally, in September 2020, the recording began with a few security measures against the virus in the area. Months later, in February 2021, production was again disrupted as one of the team members was tested for Covid-19. However, the recording is said to have been completed by the end of that month.
United Kingdom
England served as the main producer of the ‘Wonderful Beasts: Dumbledore Secrets.’ The Hogwarts and Hogsmeade sequel series was recorded and featured on Warner Bros. magical sets. Extensive Leavesden Studios. It is located on Warner Drive, Leavesden in the town of Watford in Hertfordshire, southeast of England. The filming of the film mainly took place in six stages sound and production.

The film’s director, David Yates, said, “It was a pleasure to record Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden. Categories, backpacks, and offices have been the ideal home for our production, all backed by the most advanced teams. “Over the years, the production area has served as the site for several films and TV shows. Some of the most notable recordings in the studio are ‘Edge of Tomorrow,’ ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle,’ and ‘Pennyworth.’
A team of filmmakers also traveled to the village of Bedfordshire to record a few important scenes. In February 2021, Bedfordshire Live reported that a new film by Warner Bros. was expected to be filmed in a festival town. Apparently, Warner Bros. also sent letters to the villagers informing them of the filming of a local film for a few weeks or more.
According to a local report, several trailers and trucks were spotted in Windsor Great Park at The Crown Estate Windsor Great Park and Guards Polo Club located in Windsor, Berkshire. The areas mentioned above are located near Warner Bros. Studio Leavesden. It is, therefore, understandable why the production team chose the locations as recording studios.
Germany
The cast and crew of ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ were also seen shooting a few scenes in the German capital — Berlin.

Due to the diverse landscape of Germany’s largest city, it serves as a regular venue for several movies and TV shows, such as ‘Kill Eve,’ ‘Unspecified,’ and ‘Foolish Masterdsds.’
Brazil
For the purposes of filming, the production team traveled to the coastal city of Rio De Janeiro to film a few outstanding episodes of the tour film.
According to sources, actors and staff have enjoyed living in Brazil, largely because of the weather and food. Also, it was a daunting task to film the film segments in this South American country.
Bhutan
The third episode of the ‘Fantastic Beasts Franchise saw members of a group set up camp in the Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan, on the eastern edge of the Himalayas. The legendary scene has served as a magical place for the Magisterial Chamber of Ancient Wizardry in the film, as it is used to record a few notable sequences. Over the years, Bhutan has emerged from a number of recording projects, including ‘Strangers and Magic,’ and ‘Such Good People.’

The cast and crew of ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’ also traveled to China and the United States to film a fake movie.
