‘Furioza’ is a thrilling and terrifying movie that replaces the hackneyed gunfight with a refreshing slugfest and stabbing. The story follows David, a doctor who was devastated by a previous tragedy. When he meets his former love Dzika ten years later, she forces him to make difficult choices. Therefore, he must join his brother’s unknown gang – Furioza – or his brother will spend years in prison.
While David and Dzika were holding hands to discover a drug network in the city, a few dead people marred the image. Most of the events in the movie unfold in the Polish city of Gdynia, where the actors visit the booth, the underground gym, and the nightclub, among other places. Most of the outside scenes seemed to be filmed in the Polish Tricity (in the area known as Trójmiasto), where most of the story took place. Located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, Tricity has three cities, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot, and suburbs. As the film shows, Tricity remains the backbone of the economy and strategy in the country. A number of scenes, including the sequence of the booth, were recorded locally.
