CBS’s “Fit for Christmas” Directed by Jessica Harmon, is a fun Christmas-themed movie that puts a unique spin on the romantic comedy genre. It follows Audrey, a cheerful fitness instructor from Mistletoe, Montana, obsessed with all things Christmas. She runs classes at a local community center with which she is deeply involved. But with the center in dire financial straits, a mysterious businessman comes to town to turn it into a luxury resort, and Audrey clashes with him.
However, the couple’s differences soon pave the way for them to fall in love during the holidays, putting the entrepreneur’s plans in jeopardy. With stellar performances from the talented cast members and entertaining storytelling, ‘Fit for Christmas’ keeps the audience entertained till the end. Plus, the charming small-town setting and cheery Christmas graphics make them wonder if the holiday romance was filmed in Montana.
Where Was Fit for Christmas Movie Filmed?
Fit for Christmas movie was filmed completely in British Columbia, particularly in Greater Vancouver and Abbotsford. Principal photography on the CBS film began on August 14, 2022, and was completed after two and a half weeks on September 1, 2022.
British Columbia’s diverse landscape, featuring snow-capped mountains, lush rivers, forests, urban cities, and charming towns, is the perfect substitute for Montana, where the story is set.

“Fit for Christmas” primarily expanded to Greater Vancouver, the metropolitan area encompassing Vancouver and surrounding areas. The cast and crew mostly shot various scenes of the film all over Vancouver, which is popular as a location for Christmas productions. Next, they traveled to the nearby city of Burnaby where they recorded additional pieces at the famous Burnaby Village Museum at 6501 Deer Lake Avenue, Deer Lake Park.

Formerly known as Heritage Village, the museum was established in 1971 and houses the Carousel C.W. Parker, which has been attracting countless tourists since 1912. Located in the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia, Greater Vancouver has great scenery, tax breaks for filming, and a huge network of trained cast and crew members as a filming location. Several films such as “Three Wise Men and a Child”, “Christmas in Maple Valley” and “Time to Come Home for Christmas” have been filmed in the region.

To film the next installments of “Fit for Christmas,” the production team set up camp in Abbotsford, a city adjacent to Greater Vancouver. They probably shot scenes all over the city on suitable backdrops. Abbotsford, Canada’s largest municipality outside of Greater Vancouver, boasts scenic views of Mount Baker and the Coast Mountains.

The town has many tourist attractions such as Mill Lake Park, The Reach Gallery Museum, the Tretheway House Heritage Site, and the Mennonite Heritage Museum. The films “Christmas in Tahoe” and “My Christmas Family Tree” were shown in Abbotsford.
