Lifetime’s ‘A New Orleans Noel’ or ‘Christmas In The Quarter’, directed by Angela Tucker, part of Lifetime’s ‘It’s A Wonderful Lifetime’ series, is a romantic drama film that follows Grace Hill and Anthony Brown, both hired to work on the renovation of Loretta Brown’s house. Interestingly, the couple shares a history as they went to the same college but went their separate ways after graduation.
Now, Grace and Anthony must put their differences aside and work together on the same project during the holidays. As Christmas approaches, Anthony and his family discover that Grace will be celebrating the festival all by herself. So they invite her to join them and be a part of their celebrations. As Grace learns the importance of family, Anthony begins to embrace the magic of Christmas more.
Just when things are going great for Anthony, he gets an attractive job offer out of town and now has to make a tough choice. The dramatic yet heartwarming story keeps viewers invested in the film, but the use of different locations makes you wonder where it was actually filmed.
Where Was A New Orleans Noel Movie Filmed?
“A New Orleans Noel” movie was filmed in Mississippi and Louisiana, particularly in Natchez and New Orleans. According to reports, the main photography of the Christmas movie started in December 2021 and ended in the same month.
Although the story takes place in New Orleans, as the title suggests, most of the filming took place in Mississippi.
Mississippi
Most of “A New Orleans Noel” was located in and around Natchez, the county seat and only city in Mississippi’s Adams County. Downtown, which serves as the film’s main production location, is where most of the filming took place, as many Natchez citizens and businesses contributed to the filming, either by providing locations or their services.

Louisiana
Other parts of ‘A New Orleans Noel’, reportedly outdoor scenes, were shot in New Orleans, Louisiana’s most populous city. Located in the southeastern region of the state, the city is known for its unique dialects, distinctive music, various annual festivals, and Creole cuisine.
