Family Reunion is a sitcom created by Meg DeLoatch and released via streaming on Netflix on July 10, 2019. In September 2019, the series was renewed for a second season, which premiered on April 5, 2021. Part 4 was released on August 26, 2021. In October 2021, the series was renewed for a third, with the final season set to premiere on October 27, 2022.
Still angry and feeling betrayed by Elvis for his actions in the last episode, Shaka tries to force Mazzi to stop dating Elvis. When Mazzi refuses, Shaka strikes up a “friendship” with Mazzi’s rival Braylan in retaliation and breaks off their relationship. At Jade’s party, Moz and Cocoa fly in with her friends from Seattle to surprise her, but what ends up lifting Jade’s spirits is Royale, who crashes the party in disguise.
Royale reveals that she is leaving Georgia, so the two confess their love and kiss but are caught by Moz, who forces Royale out. Elsewhere, Braylan crosses a line by bullying Mazzi and Elvis, so Shaka sides with his brothers ends his friendship with Braylan, and reconciles with his brother and friend.
Meanwhile, M’Dear overhears a conversation with Moz and financial advisor Cocoa, who reveals that the McKellans are now officially broke. M’Dear offers them to stay with her as long as they need, but after saying this, Cocoa receives a message revealing that Jade has run off with Royal. Where Was Family Reunion Series Filmed?
“Family Reunion” is filmed exclusively in California, specifically in Los Angeles. The initial iteration of the comedy series reportedly began filming in October 2018 and ended in June 2019. As for the second round, production began in February 2020 but was halted around April 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The team resumed work in late September 2020 to resume filming for Season 2, which eventually wrapped in February 2021.
Additionally, principal photography for the third season reportedly began in March 2022 and ended in May of that year. Although the story takes place in Columbus, Georgia, the creators prefer to film the series in the Golden State.

All key sequences for “Family Reunion” take place in Los Angeles, the largest city in California and the second most populous city in the United States. The production team primarily uses the Paramount Studios facility at 5555 Melrose Avenue in the Hollywood District.
