Netflix’s Do Revenge, written and directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, is a dark comedy that revolves around two young high school students, Drea and Eleanor. Both find themselves on the receiving end of bullying and become a hot topic of discussion at school for the wrong reasons.
While Dre’s video above is leaked, Eleanor becomes an outcast when rumors of her forcefully kissing a girl spread like wildfire.
After these unfair situations, the duo become friends and make a deal to take revenge on each other’s bullies. The Netflix film sticks to the theme of revenge throughout the narrative, but the hilarious elements make it stand out and tickle the audience’s funny bones.

Where Was Do Revenge Movie Filmed?
“Do Revenge” was filmed in Georgia and Florida, specifically in Atlanta and Miami. Principal photography on the Camila Mendes starrer reportedly began in June 2021 under the working title ‘Strangers’ and wrapped up in August of the same year.
Although the story takes place in Miami, most of the filming took place in Atlanta. In a July 2022 interview with Elle, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson revealed more about the film’s locations and how the availability of actresses Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes influenced her decision.
Robinson said, “It had to be Maya.” And so the film was to be set in Los Angeles; we moved it and shot it in Atlanta so we could shoot it at the same time as ‘Stranger Things.’ And I rewrote it and reset it in Miami. … They were so perfect that we legally moved the production because if we had waited for Maya after Stranger Things we would have lost Cami.
And if we had Cami in L.A., we wouldn’t have Maya. I was like, ‘No, it has to be both.’ So we moved the whole movie six weeks before production.”
Georgia
Most of “Do Revenge” took place in Atlanta, Georgia’s capital and most populous city. The cast and crew ostensibly traveled around the city to shoot various sequences against suitable backdrops for the film.
To film the high school scenes, they either used the campus of an actual high school or university or set up camp on a sound stage in one of the recording studios in town.

Florida
In the later stages of production, in August 2022, the ‘Do Revenge’ team was spotted filming several key sequences in Miami, the capital and coastal metropolis of Southeast Florida. Since the story takes place in Miami, they reportedly shot some additional exterior parts for the film to fit into various scenes.
