Unsuspicious is a Brazilian mystery comedy TV series that revolves around three women and their families conned by the same playboy. To get back at him and question him about his actions, the three families decided to come to his mansion together and confront him. However, things turn wild and mysterious when they find the playboy dead in his mansion.
Now the three families must stay at the mansion longer than expected and find out the truth. The tension and mystery behind the playboy’s sudden death isn’t the only thing that keeps you guessing every episode of the Brazilian series, as the luxurious mansion also makes you wonder about the real locations used for the filming of “Unsuspicious.”
Where Was Unsuspicious Series Filmed?
Unsuspicious is filmed entirely in Brazil, mainly in São Paulo. Principal photography on the inaugural iteration of the murder-mystery series is believed to have begun in early August 2021 and wrapped about a month later, in September of that year. Located along the eastern coast of South America, Brazil is the largest country in South America and Latin America.
Brazil’s vast and diverse landscape makes it a suitable filming location for all kinds of movies and TV shows, including “Unsuspicious.”

Most of the key sequences of “Unsuspicious” take place in and around São Paulo, a city in the southeastern region of Brazil. Aside from a few exterior shots, almost all of the debut season was filmed either in the actual mansion or on a soundstage in the metropolis, where crew members likely custom-built the set for the series.

São Paulo is home to some of Brazil’s tallest skyscrapers, such as the Mirante do Vale, the Edifício Itália, the Banespa Building, and the North Tower. In addition, there are various monuments, museums, and parks in the city, including the Latin American Memorial, the Museum of the Portuguese Language, the Ibirapuera Park, the Ipiranga Museum, and the Emma Gordon Klabin Cultural Foundation, to name a few.
