Netflix’s “I Came By” is a neo-noir thriller, directed by Babak Anvari, that follows a young graffiti artist as he tries to reveal some dark secrets to the world. Toby and Jay are two rebellious young graffiti artists who regularly target the residences of the city’s wealthiest and elite class.
However, when he first breaks into the home of former renowned High Court judge Sir Hector Blake, he discovers a ground-breaking secret about him. After the discovery, Toby takes on the task of unraveling the mystery, even if it means putting himself and those close to him in danger.

Where Was I Came By Movie Filmed?
I Came By was shot entirely in England, specifically in Greater London and Surrey. Principal photography on the George MacKay starrer began in early August 2021 and reportedly wrapped in September of that year after about a month.

Most of “I Came By” was filmed in Greater London, an administrative area managed by the Greater London Authority. The production team traveled across the area to get all the necessary shots on suitable backgrounds for the film.
In an interview with Yahoo News UK in late August 2022, Percelle Ascott expressed his excitement at being able to shoot on familiar streets. He said: “There was one particular place that my grandfather used to go, so it was nice to have that experience of filming in your London again.”

In the same interview, actor George MacKay added: “London feels like the perfect environment because we all live on top of each other and intertwine. That melting pot is especially true of this town.” In addition to “I Came By,” the area has served as a prominent production location for several other films and television shows. Some notable ones are Resident Evil, Last Night in Soho, The Mummy, and The Crown.

Other parts of ‘I Came By’ were also filmed in Surrey, a county in south-east England bordering Greater London to the north-east. The county is home to several historically significant architecture and monuments, including Holmbury Hill, Hascombe Hill, Farnham Castle, Guildford Castle, and Abbot’s Hospital.
Some other places of interest in and around Surrey are Devil’s Punch Bowl, Claremont Landscape Garden, Royal Botanic Gardens, and Shalford Mill.
