“Under Her Control” or “La Jefa” directed by Fran Torres, is a Spanish thriller drama film that revolves around an unusual arrangement between an employee and her boss. When Sofia, an ambitious and promising woman, becomes pregnant, she fears that the child may mean the end of her promising career. However, her boss, Beatriz, has been desperate to have a child of her own for some time.
