Netflix’s “Me Time,” written and directed by John Hamburg, is a comedy film that follows stay-at-home dad Sonny Fisher, who finally gets some time to himself for the first time in years while his wife and kids go away. for a few days.

“Me Time” was filmed exclusively in California, specifically in Los Angeles County. Principal photography for the comedy film reportedly began in late August 2021 and wrapped up in October of that year. In September 2021, Deadline reported that a serious accident occurred “on or near the set” when a technician fell 30 feet while filming and was immediately taken to a regional trauma center.

During filming, cast and crew members were spotted all over the county, including Hollywood and Long Beach, taping various sequences against suitable backdrops. They even set up camp in the desert to shoot some action scenes for the movie.
In August 2022, during the film’s LA premiere, Mark Wahlberg told E! News Daily Pop about his character’s nude scene and how uncomfortable it was for him to film it. He said: “Unfortunately for me, the whole day was 12 hours in Long Beach on the pier. And every now and then someone would give me a robe or something, but it wasn’t comfortable.”
