In March 2020, the cast and crew of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life” were spotted filming some key scenes in Wilmington, specifically downtown and around the Wilmington Riverwalk. The scenes where Whitney and her mother visit Chase and where he asks Whitney to move in with him were all filmed in Wilmington.
Some important sequences were filmed at the Carolina Theater at 309 West Morgan Street in Durham for the second season and Ashville for the eighth season.
Georgia
