“Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” is being shot entirely in New York, specifically in Ulster County, Hudson, Catskill, and Schenectady. The original plan was to shoot the first season in mid-to-late 2021, but principal photography for the initial iteration began in August 2021 and ended in early May 2022.

Cast and crew members were spotted in Uptown and Downtown Kingston during filming, where they taped some key sequences for the debut season.
Rough Draft Bar & Books at 82 John Street in Kingston was also used to film several scenes. In addition, Sterling Street in Kingston and Phenicia, a Shandaken village, also served as prominent production locations for the inaugural iteration of the show.

To shoot key outdoor scenes for Season 1, the crew of “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” set up camp across the Hudson, the city and county seat of Columbia County.
To be specific, Prison Alley off Fourth Street and North Third Street in Strawberry Alley are a couple of locations where the show’s cast and crew filmed some sequences for the first season.

Additional exterior shots for the debut season were shot at various locations in Catskill, a town in southeastern Greene County. The cast and crew of the slasher drama series camped out at Thompson Street Cemetery at 79 Thompson Street to film some of the final parts of the inaugural round.
Additionally, they appear to have used several houses on residential Cedar Street as well as locations on Main Street for some key sequences.
The production team even traveled to Schenectady, the city and county seat of Schenectady County, New York, to film several important scenes for the show’s first season.
