Netflix’s “Blackout” Directed by Sam Macaroni, is an action thriller that revolves around Cain, who wakes up in a hospital with no memory of his past or how he got there. He soon finds himself in the crosshairs of numerous cartel factions and is forced to be on the run in a locked hospital. As Cain tries to reveal his true identity, the Cartel is on his tail, looking for something precious he stole.
The audience finds themselves in the dark as well as the protagonist, searching for answers about their past and identity. This creates tension and keeps us on the edge of our seats from start to finish of the crime thriller. Where Was Blackout Movie Filmed?
“Blackout” was shot entirely in Mexico, specifically in Mexico City. Principal photography for the Sam Macaroni-directed film reportedly began in late October 2020 and wrapped in December of that year.
