Netflix’s “The Next 365 Days” is an erotic thriller that serves as the third part of the “365 Days” film series. Based on the third novel of the “Kolejne 365 Dni” trilogy by Blanka Lipińská. The narrative revolves around Italian gangster Massimo Torricelli and Laura as their relationship goes through a rough patch. Nacho tries to take advantage of the situation and tries to push the couple apart once and for all while they deal with their trust issues.
Directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes, the sequel to ‘365 Days: This Day’ stars Anna-Maria Sieklucka, Magdalena Lamparska, Michele Morrone, and Rebecca Casiraghi. Like the first two installments, the scenic and luxurious locations complement the sensuality of the narrative that is common to all three films in the series. So it’s only natural that you’ll be curious to know where The Next 365 Days movie was shot.
Where Was The Next 365 Days Movie Filmed?
“The Next 365 Days” was filmed in Poland and Italy, specifically in Mazowieckie and Sicily. The original plan was to start shooting the film sometime in 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic delayed production. The main filming of the third and final part, therefore, took place between May 2021 and September of the same year, together with its prequel.
Since the film crew worked on the two parts together, the entire filming process seemed to go much faster and smoother. So without further ado, let’s go through the specific locations featured in the film and follow the couple as they try to rekindle their flame!
Poland
Most of “The Next 365 Days” took place in the Polish province of Mazowieckie, specifically in and around Warsaw. It made sense for the filmmakers to use the Warsaw setting, as it also served as a prominent location for the first two parts of the trilogy. Warsaw is located on the banks of the Vistula River and is the capital and largest city of Poland.

Thanks to the city’s historical significance and variety of architectural styles, Warsaw offers some pretty picturesque and unique backdrops for filming. The capital is home to several interesting places, be it museums, churches, galleries, and so on. Popular attractions include the Royal Castle, the National Museum, the Zachęta Art Gallery, and the Church of the Holy Cross, to name a few.
Italy
Sicily also plays an important role in the film’s narrative, as the Italian region is where Massimo is from. So the film crew used the real locales of the region to add an element of authenticity to the story.

Sicily is located in the central Mediterranean Sea, south of the Italian peninsula, and is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to ‘The Next 365 Days’, parts of Sicily can be seen in several other films and TV shows, including ‘Aquaman’ ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley, and ‘The White Lotus’.
