‘Zombies 3’ is the third part of the ‘Zombies series directed by Paul Hoen. The fantasy romance film revolves around Zed and Addison, who are seniors at Seabrook High. While Zed is on the verge of getting a football scholarship to become the first zombie to attend college, Addison is looking forward to the start of the international cheer competition at Seabrook High.
But things get wild when a new group of intergalactic aliens descends from the sky in a UFO to compete in a cheerleading competition. Soon the zombies and the people of Seabrook realize that these aliens may be looking for more than just friendly competition. The unique story takes place against the backdrop of some interesting locations, including Seabrook, which is sure to make you think about the actual filming locations used for the Disney+ movie.
Where Was Zombies 3 Movie Filmed?
“Zombies 3” was shot entirely in Ontario, mainly in the Greater Toronto Area. Filming on the zombie movie began in May 2021 and seemingly wrapped up in September of that year.
By choosing to shoot the film in Ontario, where the previous two installments of the franchise were filmed, the production team may have made the entire filming process much easier as they were already used to the location. Now let’s look at all the specific sites that appear in the Zombie 3 movie!

All key sequences for “Zombies 3” were shot in and around Toronto, the capital of Ontario. It is also Canada’s most populous city. The film’s production team traveled around the city to shoot several interior and exterior scenes in suitable backdrops. In mid-June 2021, the cast and crew were spotted filming some important sequences at Sugar Beach, located across from the Redpath Sugar Refinery in the East Bayfront neighborhood. Other parts of the film were recorded at the University of Toronto campus at 27 King’s College Circle.

In addition, the cast and crew used the University of Mississauga campus at 3359 Mississauga Road in the neighboring city of Mississauga, Toronto. In August 2021, the production team had to literally hold their ground during an erratic thunderstorm during filming.
In addition, they even traveled just outside the city of Toronto when they were spotted filming on the Pickering-Markham border in early August 2021. Trafalgar Castle School at 401 Reynolds Street in Whitby also seemingly served as a prominent filming location for the movie.

Due to Toronto’s vast and diverse landscape, the city is considered a prominent filming location in the eyes of many filmmakers. In addition to “Zombies 3”, the capital has hosted the production of many films and TV shows. Some notable ones that use local settings are “Shazam!”, “Ready or Not”, “Shadowhunters” “The Room”, and “Ginny & Georgia”.
