“Top Gun: Maverick.”Some recordings took place in the City of Angels, a large modern city in Los Angeles County. The band seems to be visiting the city studio to record a sequence, which could be Paramount Pictures Studio, at 5555 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.

San Diego County

The iconic beach soccer field was filmed at Breakers Beach, a private beach in the North Island area, not far from Naval Air Station. El Dorado County

The central recording area visited by staff in the area was Lake Tahoe Airport. The public airport is located at 1901 Airport Road Suite 100, three miles southwest of South Lake Tahoe. The airport represents the remote military airstrip in the movie. Workers are working with the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit to take better care of the natural environment in which they record. They also headed to Sierra District State Parks to record more scenes.
Kern County
“Top Gun: Maverick.”In their extended recording program, the cast and crew headed for Kern County, where they recorded scenes at a military barracks near the city of Ridgecrest.

Scenes were recorded at Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake, a maritime weapons station focused on research and testing programs. The weapons station is located at 1 Administrative Circle in Ridgecrest and includes the fire department.
Yakima County
“Top Gun: Maverick.”Another filming took place in Yakima County in Washington State. The region is named after the Yakama tribe of Native Americans.

While in the region, workers recorded scenes at Rimrock Lake, a large 10.8-square-mile [10.8 sq km] lake near the Tieton River. Located in the Wenatchee National Forest, the lake is open to fishing for all seasons.
