‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ is being filmed in and around the US, especially in New York and Illinois. Production of the first season began at the end of May 2021 in New York.
The first season filming also took place in part in Chicago from late September to early October 2021, when it was finally wrapped up. Now let’s take you to some places where the series is being filmed.
Illinois
“The Time Traveler’s Wife.”Niffenegger himself was originally from Illinois, and book correspondence in this area is strong. As a result, more filmings were made in and around Chicago, one of the largest cities in the entire US. Actors and crews took a skyshot while trying to capture more of the city’s outdoor photography.

They recorded parts in and around the city, and the shooting lasted for more than a week. Given the unique charm, Chicago is ready for rom-com stories, from ‘My Best Friend’s Wedding’ to ‘When Harry Met Sally.’
New York
“The Time Traveler’s Wife.”Subsequent film screenings in Pleasantville community in Westchester County. The peaceful village is located in Mount Pleasant, about 20 miles [30 km] north of Manhattan.
The cast and crew brought a lot of brilliance as they filmed scenes in and out of town for the first season, including Wheeler Avenue. They set up a branch near Pleasantville Pharmacy, a pharmacy on 62 Wheeler Avenue.

Scenes were also filmed at the Philips 66 petrol station on Broadway, in the same location. Scenes were taken from parts of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve at 125 Phelps Way in Pleasantville. Finally, a team of organizers visited Nannahagen Park in Pleasantville, which is lined with a small lake.
Most of the photography took place in the suburbs of New York City, and crews found comfortable accommodation in the rusty town of Yonkers, near the Hudson River.
In the city, a team filmed scenes near the Yonkers MetroNorth station on Alexander Street as they appeared to be watching the river. The bus station, which is a major intersection, is between Ludlow and Glenwood Station.

Many scenes were also shown at Habirshaw Park in Hudson, north of the station. The place seems to have stood still in Chicago, as the old cars were on the set. The peaceful surroundings of Yonkers make the city an ideal recording studio, the most visited of the HBO Max drama series ‘The Flight Attendant,’ among other things.
Another important location for the filming of their detailed film was the town of White Plains in the same region, about 25 miles [40 km] north of Manhattan. Actors and staff hijacked Galleria, a famous shopping mall on 100 Main Street in the White Plains area.

The unit installs segments of lenses throughout Westchester, including the Purchase community, where recordings were erected on Purchase Street. Additional filming took place in Rockwood State Forest and New York City, where they filmed in the Bronx.
The film crew was spotted on Third Avenue and Brucker Boulevard and East 134 Street and Lincoln Avenue in the Bronx, home of the Yankees.”The Time Traveler’s Wife.”
