The film, Australian Outback is full of zombies during an outbreak of the virus. Gunner Rhys works for a mysterious crazy scientist named Surgeon General, who has made his life’s goal of finding a cure for a god-forsaken disease.
Rhys’ job is to hunt down Zombies and uninfected people as those infected can lead to vaccination. The story takes place mostly in the Australian outback and deserts, while the magnificent production design gives the movie three-dimensional adaptations. ‘Wyrmwood: Apocalypse’ was recorded all over Australia and surrounding areas, especially in New South Wales. The recording began in January 2021 and ended on March 4, 2021. With the work of the camera, Kiah Roache-Turner relied on her long-time editor Tim Nagle, while Esther Rosenberg was in charge of production at her first stage.

The group set up its base on the old fruit farm in Dural, a Sydney suburb 36 miles northwest of the downtown business district. A few outdoor scenes and a lot of internal sequences were recorded in and around the farm, which was converted into a movie production site.
Due to the closure of Covid-19, actors and staff have tried to make a safe bubble and film most of the film in one place.

However, several sequences were recorded in rural areas near the northern Dural. The cast and crew filmed a few scenes in Glenorie, a suburb of Sydney 44 kilometers northwest of Downtown Sydney, and Forest Glen, less than 4 miles north of Glenorie.
