Belfast Harbor Studios, a popular movie theater located on Dargan Road on the outskirts of Belfast, has leased its many local channels. The center consists of two fully equipped 32,964 square meters, which can function as a single stage. Soon after its launch, the studio became busy, hosting high-budget efforts such as the production of Netflix ‘School of Good and Evil.’
For the purpose of recording, the band moved to County Down, one of the six districts of Northern Ireland. They captured many scenes in Attical (or Atticall), a town and village in the magnificent mountains of Morne. It lies on the famous hiking trail.
The landmark tour also led to a team of designers in Bangor, a beautiful village in the same area. Although located within the Belfast Metropolitan Area, the seaside town is 14 miles [14 km] east of the Belfast city center.

While in the city, the workers set up camp on the Clandeboye Estate, one of the permanent settlements in Northern Ireland. Located at Clandeboye Cottages on Belfast Road towards Bangor, the 2,000-hectare site is famous for its 1st Marquess heritage.
However, after the demise of the 5th Marquess, the marquessate disappeared, and a piece of Irish history can now be borrowed as an event venue. If you want to have a good marriage, this is the place for you. Finally, the bulk of the filming in Northern Ireland took place in County Antrim.
Lough Neagh forms a large part of the region. Forest scenes have been taken from Antrim Hills, one of the most unused nature reserves in Northern Ireland. Workers have taken a seat known as Antrim district, the picturesque town north of Lough Neagh.
Other scenes were also filmed at Torr Head, a historic site and a popular tourist destination. Located on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland, the capital offers a refreshing view of the sea, and Altagore Cashel, an ancient fortress.

The team took the torrid Torr road, just beyond the roller coaster, and came to a stop in the town of Ballymena. The village first appeared in an area assigned to the Adair family. They also head east from Ballymena to Ballygally, a beautiful coastal town near Larne. “The Northman.”
The story ‘The Northman’ is deeply rooted in Irish history and mythology; thus, the director took his team on the trip to Ireland. The production unit filmed the scenes on the Inishowen peninsula, the largest peninsula in Ireland.
The peninsula includes Ireland’s highest point, Malin Head, a film that captures all of its glory. While there, actors and crew walk along the Five Fingers Strand, a spectacular coastline dotted with huge dunes.

Additional scenes were recorded at Gleniff Horseshoe and Cliffoney Village near County Sligo, Ireland. The history of living in the Cliffoney Village area dates back to the megalithic times. While walking along the cliffs, you can find a cave that was once a hiding place for legendary lovers Diarmuid and Grainne. Fans of such historical sites may take the Wild Atlantic Way and enjoy a grim view of Ireland’s great natural beauty.
Iceland
In addition, staff members flew to Iceland to film ice-cold film scenes. Some scenes in The Northman film show Svínafellsjökull, the glacier coming out of the middle of the vast ice of Vatnajökull. Located in the state of Austurland, it is the largest glacier in Europe.
The episode ‘Game of Thrones’ also touches the glacier, the edges of which form a famous mountaineering trail.
