‘Captain Nova’ is a vicious and common campaign in the emerging genre of weather-related fairy tales. The movie takes us to a post-apocalyptic future, which is reflected in the industrial zone to the north, where Nova is a pilot. Nova goes back to the past to prevent disaster and hunt down the company after the disaster.
Nova returns to the green area, but no one takes her seriously as traveling in the past has reduced her age. The film was the first film at the Dutch film festival Cinekid, where it won numerous awards and accolades.

Where Was Captain Nova Movie Filmed?
‘Captain Nova’ was fully recorded in the Netherlands and surrounding areas, especially in Amsterdam and Utrecht. The recording looks set to happen in the fall of 2020, with Covid-19 regulations in place. Robbie van Brussel, the cinematographer for ‘Quality Time,’ came on board to host cinematography.
At the same time, Barbara Westra was the production designer for this project, whose work you can see in ‘My Best Friend Anne Frank. Marijn Molenaar, the artistic director of the book ‘Living as It Should Be,’ took a similar role in the project.
Netherlands
Captain Nova some recordings took place in Amsterdam. The capital of the Netherlands is known for its intricate network of canals and artistic heritage dating back several centuries. The group photographed some of the most iconic places in the city while using a few local businesses in production.
The old Hemweg Power Station (Kraftwerk Hemweg), a power station located at Petroleumhavenweg 1 in the Hemweg suburb of Amsterdam, has provided the site for a magnificent northern industrial pole.

Pictures of cool places were later added to background production, such as the breathtaking clouds in Nova and Nas. Fleur Sophie Boots, a shoemaker at Funenpark 347 in Amsterdam, also appears on the credit list. However, the store is closed permanently.
Many more scenes were recorded in Utrecht, another famous Dutch province. At its center is an unknown city, located about 44 miles [44 km] south of Amsterdam and complete in a medieval context. Actors and staff received assistance from The Utrecht Landscape Foundation, a landscape located at Bunnikseweg 39 in De Bilt, a city and municipality in the province.

The filming also took place on the grounds of Park Vliegbasis Soesterberg, a former windmill converted into a park. The landmark is located in Soest, a municipality in the province of Utrecht, located 14 kilometers northwest of Utrecht, near Amersfoort.
The park is usually open to the public, even if there are exceptions. Meanwhile, during production, workers were very careful to conserve the surrounding natural resources.

To record more sequences, they enlisted the help of Staatsbosbeheer, the Dutch governing body that owns forests and nature reserves. Due to the closure situation, they were unable to find office space to double as a bad organization from the movie.
