‘Infinite Storm’ is a survival drama film directed by Małgorzata Szumowska and Michał Englert. Based on Ty Gagne’s article ‘Higher Places: Steps in the Snow Leads to Emotional Release,’ describes the real-life experience of mountaineer and rescuer Pam Bales.
The film follows Pam (Naomi Watts) as she exits the trail to Mount Washington State Park after experiencing a personal tragedy. As the hurricane cuts off her trail, Pam begins to descend from the summit to meet a man who is struggling to survive in the wilderness.

Where Was Infinite Storm Movie Filmed?
Although ‘Infinite Storm’ was set in New Hampshire, Missouri, the film was actually shot in Slovenia. According to sources, the main photography of the project began on February 12, 2021, and was completed on May 1, 2021.
Slovenia
Kamnik, a town in the Upper Carniola district of Slovenia, is the main location for the filming of ‘Infinite Storm.’ Most of the film was shot in the vicinity of the city. The filming took place at Velika Planina, a natural trail in Kamnik.
Actors and crew also took photographs in the Kamniška Bistrica Valley, near the source of the Kamnik Bistrica river. Some scenes were shot at the International Picnic Center (also known as Pri Jurju) in the same area.

Much of the Kamnik Alps fall into the town of Kamnik and serve as the backbone of the film. The snowcapped peaks serve as a perfect replacement for the New Hampshire peaks. The village is a popular tourist destination known for its clean nature and outdoor activities. Buildings and castles are also popular among tourists.

The production team took photographs outside the Slovenian municipality of Cerklje na Gorenjskem, right next to the Krvavec Ski Resort (known as the Centro Sciistico Krvavec in the vernacular). Krvavec, founded in 1958, is the second-largest in the country.
