Additionally, the filming took place inside Cardinal Lanes Shipyard, a bowling alley located at 3907 Shipyard Boulevard. The International Longshoremen’s Union Hall, 1305 South 5th Avenue, doubled as a Woodsboro Sheriff’s Department. A few horror movie scenes were also shot inside and near the house on 1201 Country Club Road. Reggie’s 42nd Street Tavern, a rock club at 1415 South 42nd Street, was also used to shoot a few scenes.
The movie explores various locations as the killer wreaks havoc on the fictional town of Woodsboro. Thus, we see luxury homes and orderly streets turned into scary places. Outdoor scenes were also filmed in the vicinity of Market Street, not far from Wilmington Veterans Cemetery, and the Wilmington Riverwalk in downtown Wilmington.
EUE / Screen Gems Studios, located at 1223 North 23rd Street, is another important recording site for the Neve Campbell star. The interior of the hospital, a trailer park, and a portrait of Stu Macher seen in the first movie were created by a team of studio producers. In fact, the designer of the set went to inspect the first house, at 3871 Tomales Petaluma Road in California, to find out the details of the right image.
Movies such as ‘Black Phone,’ ‘Halloween Kills,’ ‘A Walk,’ and ‘We Can Grind to Remember are also filmed in Wilmington. So, the North Carolina City of Port City has served as the perfect location for filming ‘Shout,’ a thrilling movie based on extremes of horror competitions and a horrible environment to show the thrilling story of a horrible killer.
