“American Underdog” was filmed in Oklahoma, Georgia, and Texas, especially on the Oklahoma City subway, Atlanta and Frisco. According to reports, production started in January 2021 and was completed in March 2021.

Oklahoma
The Oklahoma City metropolitan area serves as the primary shooting location for this sports drama movie. Important views are lensed at the Jim Norrick Arena, a multi-purpose area in the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. It can seat 8,500 people. Production crews have also traveled to nearby locations such as Arcadia, El Reno, and Ocarche, all of which are part of the Oklahoma City Metro.

The cast and crew of “American Underdog” spent little time in Frisco. Sources revealed that staff had taped some of the stadium scenes at The Starsford Center. The 12,000-seat indoor stadium is located at 9 Cowboys Way. This is a basic learning facility for Dallas cowboys.
Georgia
According to reports, some scenes were filmed in the Georgian capital Atlanta. Apparently, the movie was originally intended to be shot in Georgia, before the Irwin brothers decided that Oklahoma would be a good fit.
But it still seems like South Hollywood is on the screen somehow in this Kurt Warner biopic. Some of the most popular movies and TV shows shot in Atlanta are “Ant-Man,” “Black Panther,” “Stranger Things.” and “The Walking Dead.”
