‘300’ is a screenshot of Zack Snyder shot with a snapshot of a novel of the same name by renowned comedian and author Frank Miller and Lynn Varley. The movie tells the story of the Spartans’ strong life and times, codes and behavior, and the threat of a hostile country beyond the city. King Leonidas and his powerful army of 300 Spartan warriors marched into the ancient battle of Thermopylae against the vicious Persian emperor Xerxes and his vast army.
Opportunities do not favor Spartans. When one of them joins the enemy, the chance of winning seems bleak to the Spartans. Painted with a gold-colored style and impersonating Gerard Butler in the central role of King Leonidas, the movie is one of the bloodiest, worst, and most powerful pieces of the era to date.
Most of the story comes from the ancient city of Sparta. But it is possible that the director did not have a time machine for his departure. Therefore, it is only natural to wonder where the movie was shot.
Where Was 300 Movie Filmed?
‘300‘ was recorded in the USA and Canada, mainly in Quebec and California. The main filming of the movie reportedly began on October 17, 2005, and ended on December 18, 2005.
Quebec
The 300 movie takes viewers to the ancient Greek city of Sparta. But the movie was primarily lensed in Montréal, an island town between the Saint Lawrence River and the Rivière des Prairies. The largest city in the province of Québec, located in Francophone.
The production team has primarily created a black and yellow ambiance in the studio area. The group filmed many episodes of historical fiction at Ice Storm Studios, located at 2595 Place Chasse. The area replaces the former Angus fleet.
Once an active production site used in films such as ‘The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne,’ Ice Storm Studios was later acquired by Mel’s Cite du Cinema. It is reported that a team of producers filmed several scenes in the audio scene in the 3rd studio building.

Sequential combat sequences were taken with a few studio soldiers using bluescreens 90 percent of the time, the blue screen was used for only 10 percent of production. The Bluescreens were ready for the unusual lighting and color combinations they decided on in the previous production. In addition, the blue color accentuated the Spartan’s red caps.
The movie wanted the male characters to be stoned and green. So, according to sources, they had to go through an eight-week tax training program. Although the blood was shed in a few movie theaters, the shooting did not require counterfeit blood. The shooting operation used about a few liters of counterfeit blood and some were supplemented with CGI during production. Of the 1523 movie editions, about 1300 contained VFX elements.
California
In a memorable 300 movie scene, we see Persian ambassadors emerge from a hilltop as they ride to Sparta. Although most of the shooting took place in the studio area, the scene was different. The sequel is reportedly recorded in an area in the City of Angels, although the video was also significantly altered after production.
The great California city on the West Coast is one of the most coveted recording studios in the world because of its important role in international culture and the cinema industry.
