Netflix’s “Lesson Plan” or “Plan Lekcji” is a Polish action thriller that follows ex-cop Damian Nowicki, whose teacher friend is mercilessly killed by a criminal gang. So he pretends to be a history teacher and secretly goes to the school where his deceased friend taught to identify murderers.
However, Damian soon realizes that all the teenage students are involved in a dangerous drug racket that not only claimed his friend’s life but could potentially destroy many young futures. To settle scores and seek justice, he embarks on a thrilling journey of revenge against the criminals who are wreaking havoc in the school.
Director Daniel Markowicz’s crime drama boasts an all-star cast led by Piotr Witkowski, Roma Gasiorowska, Jan Wieczorkowski, and Antonina Jarnuszkiewicz. While the adrenaline-charged narrative keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, the dark undertones and realistic settings of the high school and shadowy city streets make one think of the production locations of “Lesson Plan.”

The “Lesson Plan” movie was filmed completely in Poland, ostensibly in and around Warsaw. Main photography for the Netflix film reportedly took place in January 2022. Due to the numerous action sequences in the story, the actors trained closely with the stunt crew and martial arts experts on set.
Poland is fast becoming a prominent film hotspot due to the government’s attractive tax incentives for film production and its diverse landscape that can replicate various locations around the world.

Most of the core parts of the ‘Lesson Plan’ were deployed in Warsaw, the capital and largest city of Poland. The cast and crew likely used the facilities of one of the city’s many hi-tech film studios to shoot scenes. It’s also possible that they visited an actual educational institution to film all the scenes set in the high school Damian goes to undercover.
