“From Scratch” is being filmed in Italy and California, specifically in Florence, Sicily, and Los Angeles. Principal photography for the inaugural iteration of the drama tv series began in early April 2021 and concluded in early September of that year.

Some private properties also serve as pivotal production locations for the romantic show. They are Buca dell’Orafo in Via dei Girolami, 28/R, Palazzo Corsini in Lungarno Corsini, 10, The Westin Excelsior in Piazza Ognissanti, 3, and Rex Cafè in Via Fiesolana, 25r.
Other parts of “From Scratch” are filmed in Sicily, one of the 20 regions of Italy and the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Officially known as the Regione Siciliana, Sicily has a rich and unique culture in terms of art, music, literature, architecture, and cuisine, making it a suitable location for filming shows like From Scratch.

The “From Scratch” crew has reportedly begun filming the show’s inaugural season in Los Angeles, California’s largest city and the second most populous city in the United States. From the looks of it, they travel around the city and record various scenes against suitable backdrops.
