‘Lost Ollie‘ is a live-action, computer-animated adventure series, based on the 2016 children’s book titled ‘Ollie’s Odyssey’ written by William Joyce, that follows Ollie, a lost patchwork rabbit toy with floppy ears. With hazy memories and hope, he sets out on a journey across the countryside to find and reunite with his best friend – the boy who lost him. In addition, the narrative deals with the story of a boy who has lost much more than just a companion.
The simple yet powerful story is made all the more impressive by the stellar performances of the talented cast of Kesler Talbot, Jake Johnson, Gina Rodriguez, and BJ Harrison. On the other hand, Jonathan Groff, Tim Blake Nelson, and Mary J. Blige lend their voices to the animated characters. In addition, the use of interesting locations in the background keeps the audience invested in the series.
