‘Ghosts of Christmas Past was filmed exclusively in Ontario in Toronto and Hamilton. Principal photography began in late August 2021 and was completed in September 2021.

Important parts of ‘Ghosts of Christmas Past’ were filmed in Hamilton, a port city on the west bank of Lake Ontario. The cast and crew were filmed exclusively in downtown Hamilton, near Gore Park, and at the Red Church Cafe on Carlisle Road. Production staff used fake snow and Christmas decorations to create a holiday backdrop for the movie.

Niagara Passes through Hamilton, a densely forested peak with an escarpment, waterfalls, and conservation areas. Important artifacts from Canadian military history are also housed in the city, including the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
