“Luckiest Girl Alive” was filmed in Ontario and New York, specifically in Toronto. Whitby, Cobourg, New York City, and Suffolk County. Filming on the Mila Kunis starrer reportedly began in late June 2021 and wrapped up in August of that year.

Rosedale United Church at 159 Roxborough Drive and Indigo – Bay, and Bloor at 55 Bloor Street West served as prominent production locations for the film. In addition, the filming unit used the premises of a restaurant in Vancouver for filming purposes.

Several parts of “Luckiest Girl Alive” were also filmed in Cobourg, a city located east of Toronto and Oshawa, Ontario. According to reports, one of the private properties in the city served as a filming location for the film.
During filming, cast and crew members were seen taping school scenes at Cobourg Collegiate Institute at 335 King Street East and at the former Brookside Youth Center at 390 King Street East. Willmott Street can also be seen in several sequences of the film.

The “Luckiest Girl Alive” film crew also camped out in Whitby, a town in Southern Ontario’s Durham Region. According to reports, they used the proximity of Trafalgar Castle School at 401 Reynolds Street and Iroquois Park Sports Center at 500 Victoria Street West to capture several important scenes for the mystery film. The former represented the exterior of Brentley School, where Ani studied.
New York
As mentioned above, the story takes place in New York, so it makes sense why some of the exterior parts of the film were set on location around the city. The production team traveled around the city to shoot various sequences on suitable backdrops, including Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, and Bryant Park.
Fifth Avenue is where Ani visits a bridal salon to choose her wedding dress. He also appears in the scene where Ani and her fiance are walking down the street after buying gifts for the wedding registry.

For filming purposes, the Luckiest Girl Alive crew stopped in Suffolk County, New York’s easternmost county, in the later stages of production. In August 2021, the cast and crew were spotted filming several key sequences at the North Ferry Terminal in a private parking lot in Shelter Island Heights, representing Nantucket Island.
In addition, the Greenport Village property on Moores Lane in the North Fork served as another production location for the thriller film.
