Netflix’s “Pressure Cooker” brings together eleven professional chefs who must use their culinary skills to compete in a cooking competition while living under the same roof. There’s no shortage of cooking competitions that follow a somewhat similar format and pattern — a bunch of chefs prepares dishes to the best of their ability to present to the show’s judges, who decide whether or not they advance to the next round. What if we told you there’s a cooking show that puts a spin on this conventional format?
What sets this show apart from other cooking shows is that the chefs also have to use strategy games because they are the ones who can judge each other’s dishes. So to take home the $100,000 grand prize, they have to do more than just cook a tasty meal. Since the reality series is shot indoors, most of you might want to know where ‘Pressure Cooker’ was actually filmed.
Where Was Pressure Cooker Series Filmed?
“Pressure Cooker” is filmed in California, particularly in Los Angeles. According to reports, principal photography for the initial iteration of the cooking show took place in the spring of 2022 over the course of approximately three weeks.
California
Like several other competition shows, ‘Pressure Cooker’ is presumably set in the sprawling Southern California city of Los Angeles, which is the state’s largest city and the nation’s second most populous city. It appears that the film crew is using the sound stage of one of the many film studios in Los Angeles to shoot all the scenes for the reality series.

“It was completely secret. we didn’t know anyone. We didn’t know we weren’t being judged by celebrity chefs. Every day is a new day and a new set of challenges. They did a really good job of keeping us separate and secretive. It is very intense and volatile. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Jester added.
