Netflix’s “Secrets of Summer” or ‘Cielo Grande’ Created by Celeste Lambert, is a Spanish teen TV series that follows the story of ambitious Steffi Navarro (Pilar Pascual) as she tries to uncover her family’s trophy, a beautiful hotel on the picturesque island of Cielo Grande.
On her journey to uncover the secrets of her father’s life, a talented wakeboarder meets new friends whose musical talent, thirst for discovery, and ambition to breathe new life into an old hotel will irreversibly change the course of her life. The secret of the Summer revolves around a group of teenagers who try to save a historic hotel deep in the Argentine delta, mixing action, intrigue, romance, and charming musical interludes. Where Was Secrets of Summer Season 2 Series Filmed?
“Secrets of Summer” was filmed completely in the province of Buenos Aires, particularly in the city of Tigre. Principal photography for the series began in May 2021 and ended after about two months in July of the same year.

All the pivotal sequences for ‘Secrets of Summer’ were shot around Tigre in the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina’s capital and primate province. The production team reportedly traveled across the city to shoot scenes in suitable backdrops.

Tigre is an independent city located west of the capital, located at the highest point of the Rio de la Plata river delta. The Paraná and Uruguay rivers meet at the confluence to form a brown-gold river. Brazil serves as the source of both rivers. Watercourses that pass through a vast region form a river delta. Due to numerous smaller river arms, the Tigre sometimes parallels Venice.
Located on the west coast of the Río de la Plata, Buenos Aires is known for its rich culture and preserved eclectic European architecture, some of which can be seen in the background of several scenes in the film. The capital is considered the industrial, financial, and commercial center of the country, with tourism playing a vital role in its economy. After all, Buenos Aires has an active and internationally recognized nightlife, with restaurants, bars, and nightclubs staying open past midnight.
