Netflix’s “White Noise” Based on Don DeLillo’s acclaimed 1985 novel of the same name, is a comedy-drama film written and directed by Academy Award-nominated director Noah Baumbach. It is Baumbach’s first directorial venture that is not based on an original story from his own creative mind. Set in the 1980s, the film revolves around a family trying to deal with the absurdities and everyday conflicts that life tends to throw in the way.
As the family grapples with the mysteries of love, death, and happiness together, a toxic plane crash occurs in their neighborhood that turns their lives upside down. At the heart of the terrifying yet comedic narrative are impressive performances from a talented ensemble cast, including Adam Driver, Don Cheadle, Greta Gerwig, Raffey Cassidy, and André Benjamin. Additionally, the number of locations throughout the film will likely raise questions in the minds of viewers about the actual filming locations.
