So Edmond hires the services of a dog trainer, Cecily, to introduce the corgi to his mother and everyone around him at the Yule Ball. When Edmond and Cecily work together to train mistletoe, they form a special bond, but it’s not without complications.

“A Royal Corgi Christmas” movie was filmed in Ireland and Canada’s westernmost province of British Columbia, primarily in County Dublin and the port city of Vancouver, also known as Hollywood North.
According to reports, the main photography for the romance film began in September 2022 and seemingly wrapped up in about a month, in October of that year.
Ireland
The “A Royal Corgi Christmas” is said to have originated exclusively in Ireland, primarily in County Dublin, Ireland’s most populous county. While the crew traveled to various locations throughout Dublin, including North Dublin, to shoot various outdoor scenes, they set up camp primarily in and around Ardgillan Castle.

Located in Balbriggan, County Dublin, it was built in 1738 by Robert Taylor and named Prospect House. Although referred to as a castle, it is actually a country-style residence with castellated decoration. Some parts of the castle are accessible to visitors for guided tours.
The real name of the adorable mistletoe is Bonbon. The star corgi was trained by Sandra Strong, a dog trainer, and veterinary nurse.

Sandra added: “…It’s all top-notch. It’s not, “Let’s prepare a little script,” and he does it. And then another. First, he pulls the handle, then he goes to the food cart, then he runs across the stage, and then he crawls under the Christmas presents – all of this was more or less done in one take because it was a wide (shot) and then they zoomed in.
British Columbia
The ‘A Royal Corgi Christmas’ team appears to have done some pre-production work in Vancouver, British Columbia’s most populous city. Located in the Lower Mainland region of the province, Vancouver is a popular filming destination due to its favorable scenery and climate, skilled technicians, tax benefits, and other facilities.

So it will not be surprising if the Hallmark production team also chose the city as a filming location. Over the years, it has served as a prominent filming location for several productions such as 2 Hearts, Firefly Lane, The Age of Adaline, and Batwoman.
