“Tár” Written and directed by Todd Field, is a psychological drama set in the international world of classical music. For filming purposes, the ‘Tár’ production team also camped in Dresden, the capital of Saxony and its second most populous city. In September 2021, the cast and crew were spotted filming several key sequences at the Grand Garden Palace (Palais Großer Garten) at Hauptallee 5 in Dresden. In addition, they even shot other parts of the film in and around the Kulturpalast Dresden at Schloßstraße 2.
New York
According to reports, certain parts of ‘Tar’ were recorded in New York, the most populous city in the United States. NYC is located in the northeast of the United States of America and is divided into five boroughs – Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.
