NBC’s “Quantum Leap” is a science fiction drama Tv series set nearly 30 years after Dr. Sam Beckett entered the Quantum Leap accelerator and disappeared. During the filming of the debut season, the cast and crew reportedly set up camp on the 400 and 300 blocks of Granville Street, transforming the location into earthquake-stricken San Francisco in the late 1980s.

While filming some scenes, there were several stunts, debris falling, and people running around the set. In addition, they even shot a simulated car crash scene that involved the destruction of several stalls on the same street.
