Interestingly, he delivers a monologue to a childhood friend who also happens to be his cocaine dealer. The friend reminds Jackie of their mutual childhood love of superheroes, saying, “Having choices makes a person, choosing to stop Lex Luthor, that’s what makes a superhero.”

City on a Hill Season 3 Episode 5 opens, Chris goes to see Tony Suferino in jail after being contacted by his lawyer. Suffering reveals that he has information on who killed Officer Andrews and Officer Dunleavy. If Chris is being investigated for killing the latter, Ward is prosecuting an apparently innocent man for the former’s death.
Chris later goes to talk to Guy Dane and Ward, hoping to get a few years off Sufer’s sentence to reveal the names of the real culprits. Ward is absolutely against the idea of reducing Suferin’s sentence. However, Chris is desperate. He tells the Assistant District Attorney that he will contact Shimizu with the request.
Meanwhile, Jen and Doyle meet at the former house to discuss the situation with her father. He says he spoke to her father and he agreed to drop the charges if Jen apologizes. Jackie bursts in and declare that his wife would never do such a thing. Although Jen is upset with Jackie for not letting her say it, she doesn’t want to apologize either.
Later, Jackie crashes her car into Doyle’s bike, causing the other man to fall. When he goes to work, he learns that Letitia has found out about his investigation. Despite this, he does not stop and continues to gather evidence against his boss.
Realizing Siobhan’s trauma, her brother-in-law suggests that she should really consider therapy. Meanwhile, her opponents in the Big Dig case launch a smear campaign against her.
