School Tales The Series Season 1: Recap
According to the school fairy tale, every day the name of the book is written on the blackboard in room 6/4, and those students who do not bring the book by eight o’clock in the morning are murdered by the spirit of the teacher. Q, a student who was being bullied by his classmates, was given the duty to come to school at 7 am and take a picture of the book title that was displayed on the blackboard. The other students took notes and brought the textbook to survive the next day.
Since Q lived near the school, he was forced to take responsibility. Also because he was an easy target for the rest of the class. Student Vaan, who lived far away from the school, required Q to arrive at school at 6:30 a.m. so that he could access the title of the textbook at the right time.
Q was tired of his classmates’ demands; he was doing them a favor by coming to school early, but now they wanted more from him. An interesting aspect of the myth is that whoever is killed is erased from the memories of others, so no one was sure if the story was even true, but they didn’t want to take any chances.
Q was worried about arriving early because he believed that the teacher’s ghost might inhabit the classroom at that hour. He once thought about not informing the class group upon arriving at school, but he couldn’t ignore Tan’s request. Tan sympathized with Q’s situation and often helped him when his classmates pressured him. In the morning, when he came early, he felt the teacher’s spirit around him, and when he saw her, he fainted. He woke up in the infirmary with Tan by his side.
The two arrived at the classroom to find that Auan had forgotten to bring his book. Vann stole Auan’s book, but before everyone figured out the truth, it was too late. Their world stopped at 8 am and Auan was haunted by a ghost. One day, she overheard Q Tan explaining to her classmates why she supported him. She explained that she uses it just like the others to make sure she helps them every morning. The next day, Q was determined to end the lives of his classmates.
He sends them an old picture of the board. As the clock struck eight in the morning, each student was haunted by the ghosts of the teacher and the students she had murdered. Not and Tan were punished by Wittaya, their classmate, whose book they stole, resulting in him being murdered. They hated him and wanted to be sure if the class curse was real. Only Q survived.
We see glimpses of a classroom where Q is the only student left. The teacher doesn’t remember having any more students, and Q is finally freed from his duties and his bullies. The curse started the day the teacher murdered all her students and then killed herself. It was her ghost that haunted the students even now, but the reason for the mass murder was never known. “School Tales The Series Season 1.”
School Tales The Series Season 1: Ending, Explained
According to school myth, one senior cursed the death of her entire class before killing herself. The secret to the curse’s success was hidden inside a box of curses that continues to exist inside the school. We soon notice a schoolgirl frantically looking for help. She live streamed out of desperation as she imagined ghosts all around her. Out of fear, she jumped from the window of her school building and died. The next morning, her body was found and everyone at school was discussing Mint’s mysterious death.
Pleng took off her socks and wiped off Mint’s name, indicating that she had played some part in the mystery. Like the rest of the school, she expressed her sadness at Mint’s sudden passing. However, we later learn that Mint’s current boyfriend was Plego’s ex-boyfriend and she couldn’t forgive Mint for ruining her relationship. Pleng admired Boy now. The two were working on the production of a horror film. But she noticed that Jennie always interrupted her conversation with Mr. Boy.
One day, Jennie confronted her and jokingly stated that she and Boy had been together for a long time. Pleng was enraged; just as she fell in love with another man, someone else was waiting to ruin it for her. She went into the warehouse and took the box of curses. According to the box, one had to write the name of the person they wished to die on their leg and then chant the earth-suffocating spell. Pleng had murdered Mint and now she was going to end Jennie’s life the same way.
She wrote down her name and recited the spell. Jennie immediately heard the ghosts around her. Her ears began to ring and she couldn’t control them. Meanwhile, Boy went to the warehouse to find Pleng. He found it strange that Pleng found solace in a place that was known to be haunted. Pleng asked him about Jennie, to which he replied that she was his sister. She was surprised to learn the truth. The boy later walked her out and went to drop her off at her place.
She invited him in and the two shared a moment of intimacy during which Boy noticed “Jennie” written on Pleng’s leg. He asked her to explain herself, and that’s when he got a call from Jennie, who was crying and calling for help. He ran to find his sister. Meanwhile, Pleng tried to clear her name and save her life but failed. The noise became unbearable and Jennie pricked up her ears. The spirits around her encouraged her to take her own life, so she did. By the time Boy entered the apartment, it was too late. Pleng cried herself to sleep, but the ghosts woke her up.
Even though she erased the name from her leg before going to bed, it reappeared. The ghosts dragged her off the bed and she felt a terrible pain in her foot. Her leg began to swell. She bandaged it and went to school knowing the only way to stop it was to burn the box. The swelling on her leg took the shape of a face, and the face grew larger over time. She cut the head from the foot with a pocketknife and dragged herself into the warehouse.
She looked for the box but couldn’t find it. She saw Jennie’s ghost there. The ghost crawled and pushed her hand into Peng’s leg. Pleng grabbed a chainsaw and cut off her leg. The next morning, when the staff entered the school, she noticed blood leading to the storage room. She saw Pleng with a severed leg sitting dead in the room.
The boy shared his grief over Pleng’s death on social media as he erased her name from under his feet. He stole the box from the warehouse the day he went in to find Pleng. The spirits of the box called to him and he found it there. The cycle of curses ended with whoever started it first. “School Tales The Series Season 1.”
