Tyler Perry’s Sistas Season 4 Episode 22, Thinking he’s talking about Andi, Fatima replies, “That bitch is not my lawyer” (apparently still salty from the drama from the last episode). Gary gets advice from Hayden on how to sue Andi and get the apartment and car back.
Later, Zac calls Jake over and confides in him about the senator’s wife asking him for sex when Fatima walks in. Fatima surprisingly (or unsurprisingly) tells Zac to accept the senator’s wife’s proposal.
Zac reunites with the senator’s wife in her hotel room, but can’t go through with it. As Zac tries to leave, Fatima appears in the doorway and confronts the senator’s wife. With a few threats, she does what Fatima does and fixes everything. Based on her conversation with Andi about questioning Zac’s judgment, it’s not a stretch to think that Fatima has been testing Zac for so long to see what he’ll do.
Meanwhile, Sabrina runs into Bayo at the store. After some awkwardness, Bayo explains that Danni resembles the women of a special tribe in his country, explaining that he is fascinated by her. After he shows Sabrina some photos of said women, she agrees and believes him, but that still sounds a little gross if you ask me.
Logan’s story continues when he shows up at Danni’s work and asks if she said anything to Sabrina about his investigation. She lies and says she didn’t tell Sabrina, but then basically admits that she can’t sit there and not say something to her boyfriend. But that’s not her only visitor at the airport. Preston shows up to let Danni know he’s leaving town and heading home to the country.
They share an emotional goodbye, one of the highlights of the episode. He confesses his love to her before turning around and boarding the plane. She clearly doesn’t want him to leave, but after he tells her not to say anything that will make him stay, she accuses him of running after her again.
Karen could have her own grief. While talking to Pam in the store (which actually has customers), she starts to feel sick. Pam notices that he’s bleeding, setting up a potentially heartbreaking storyline for next season. If we thought Karen was a mess this season, imagine what we’ll see next season.
To close the episode, Maurice arrives at the bank smiling about his “late night”. While Sabrina fills him in on the latest Bayo drama, Logan attacks the FBI and arrests Sabrina and Maurice for a bank robbery.
With a strong buildup to the finale with episodes that left us on the edge of our seats, the final episode felt a little flat. Preston and Danni’s scene was strong again, as was Fatima confronting the senator’s wife and setting up the Karen pregnancy storyline for next season, but overall this episode left a lot to be desired. We’ll have to wait a few months to see where they go with all of this.
