In particular, a luxurious and massive Georgian stone mansion, ostensibly named “Rosewood”, located on 86 private acres in one of Westchester’s most spectacular neighborhoods, is represented in the film as a sprawling mansion where a group of friends holds a house party.

Located at 48 Heights Cross Road in Chappaqua, the mansion consists of 6 bedrooms, a two-story mahogany library, an indoor basketball court, a sauna, a wine cellar, and a gymnasium, among many other luxury amenities.
In an interview with Nightmarish Conjurings in early August 2022, the film’s director Halina Reijn was asked about the location scouting process. She revealed: “We saw a lot of houses and a lot of them are very beautiful with lots of glass. I wanted something that was symbolic of the American dream gone wrong, like greed and narcissism.

So a very decadent mansion, but with a touch of neoclassicism if you will. We (then) found this weird, huge house for sale, but no one wanted to buy it. I instantly fell in love because I literally found every location that was in the script. I would find a basketball court (and) all these dramatic places in that house.”

To shoot the next parts of ‘Bodies Bodies Bodies’, the production team camped in New York, the most populous city in the United States. The production team appears to have traveled across the Big Apple to shoot various scenes on suitable backdrops.
In addition to this horror comedy, the city has hosted a number of other filming projects such as “The Usual Suspects”, “The Sleepers”, “Elementary”, and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”.
