Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 4, In the final moments of the third episode, the girls gather around Karen’s grave to pay their respects. However, as they prepare to return home, they are shocked to see “A” following them.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 1 Titled ‘Chapter One: Spirit Week’, the series premiere opens with a flashback to 1999. At a rave party, teenager Angela Waters desperately asks for help when her friends ignore her. Later, Angela jumps off the warehouse terrace and dies. Her death is being ruled a suicide.
22 years later, Davie, one of Angela’s friends, is coping with her teenage daughter Imogen’s pregnancy. Imogen is going through a difficult time with her former best friend Karen, the daughter of Sheriff Beasley. The two had an argument after Imogen allegedly kissed Karen’s boyfriend at a party. The girls argue about it, only to find out that Davie killed herself.
A few months after her mother’s death, Imogen lives with her mother’s boyfriend Sidney Haworthe, and her daughter Tabitha “Tabby” Haworthe. At school, Minnie “Mouse” Honrada, Faran Bryant, and Noa Olivar are bullied by Karen, as are Imogen and Tabby. After a series of incidents accusing the five girls of hurting Karen, they decide to get revenge on their bully. Imogen plans to challenge Karen for the title of Ghost Queen at the upcoming school dance. Additionally, the girls plan to use Karen’s embarrassing video to get revenge.
In Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 2, titled “Chapter Two: The Spirit Queen”, a newly formed group of teenage girls retrieves a video from Imogen’s mother’s house. At a screening organized by Tabby at her workplace, The Orpheum, the girls play a video that reveals Karen cheating on her boyfriend Greg by hitting on Tyler.
The embarrassment causes Karen to spiral and with her twin sister, Kelly’s help, she plots revenge on the girls. Kelly pretends to be Karen and removes her sister’s name from the Spirit Queen race while admitting to impersonating Imogen and Tabby. However, the sisters secretly plan to embarrass Imogen after she is crowned Ghost Queen. However, the mysterious “A” attacks and kills Karen. The five girls receive a message from “A” to keep quiet about their involvement in the murder.
In Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin Season 1 Episode 3, Titled ‘Chapter Three: Aftermath’, follows the Little Liars (Imogen, Tabby, Noa, Faran, and Mouse) as they face the consequences of their actions that led to Karen’s death. The girls’ mothers get involved and plan to save their daughter from punishment. However, Karen’s father, Sheriff Beasley, intends to punish Imogen and Tabby for his daughter’s death.
Therefore, he offers Noah and the others a chance to attack the two girls. However, Kelly explains Karen’s plan to hurt Imogen to the police and school authorities.
