“Anything’s Possible” is a romantic comedy film that follows a self-confident trans high school girl named Kelsa as she deals with everything thrown at her in her senior year. One of those things is the thought of a romantic relationship when her classmate Khel falls for her. Somehow, even though he knew it would cause a lot of drama, he mustered up enough courage to ask her out.
At the same time, “Anything’s Possible” depicts the ups and downs of young love and focuses on the tenderness, joy, and pain that comes with it. While you’re enjoying the love story between Kelsa and Khel, your mind will likely be drawn to a high school setting that will take you back in time. So it’s only natural that you’re more interested in the production locations that appear in the coming-of-age movie.
Anything’s Possible Movie Filming Locations
“Anything’s Possible” was shot entirely in Pennsylvania, specifically in and around Pittsburgh. Principal photography on the romantic comedy began in July 2021 and ended in August of that year, after 25 days of filming.
Spanning the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Appalachian regions of the United States, Pennsylvania is known for its diverse and versatile geography as it has many mountains, forested areas, and rivers scattered throughout.
Most of “Anything’s Possible” was filmed in Pittsburgh, a city and county seat of Allegheny County, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. You can see many recognizable locations in several scenes, including the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens at 1 Schenley Drive, the Andy Warhol Museum at 117 Sandusky Street, the Roberto Clemente Bridge (which is temporarily closed), the National Aviary at 700 Arch Street, Point State Park and Duquesne Incline. Additionally, the high school sequences may have been recorded at the Pittsburgh CAPA located at 111 9th Street.
Some sections were also recorded in the Mount Washington neighborhood of the city. Additionally, there is a scene where we see a mural of Porter drawn by artist Camerin ‘Camo’ Nesbit, located along the river under the Fort Duquesne Bridge. In addition, reports suggest that several sequences of the Amazon Prime film were shot in the surrounding areas of Pittsburgh, in western Pennsylvania.
The Steel City, or City of Bridges, is regularly visited by many filmmakers, making it a prominent filming location. In addition to “Everything Is Possible”, the city has hosted the production of various film projects. Movies and TV series like ‘Independence Day, ‘Free Guy’, ‘Banshee’ and ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ have all been filmed in Pittsburgh.
