When introducing Hunter and Emelye on the show, cast member Avery Solomon mentioned that although the couple had been dating for quite some time, they moved in together shortly before filming began on Season 1. Right from the start, the two seemed madly in love and always included each other in everything they did. Plus, the numerous video calls, texts, and voice calls made their connection look pretty adorable.

However, the show showed Hunter to be possessive, and this character trait landed him in an argument when Ilan Luttway appeared to be interested in Emelye. Ilan had no idea about Emelye and Hunter’s relationship, and several cast members speculated that he might be into her. Naturally, this news infuriates Hunter and he soon confronts Ilan at a party and gives him an ultimatum to stay away from his girlfriend.
Anyway, the two later bury the hatchet when Ilan reveals that he has no interest in pursuing Emelye. The show portrayed Hunter as a supportive and loving friend who thought the world of Emelye and always looked out for her, even going so far as to mediate a minor dispute between her and Avery. Besides, he was quite excited to help his girlfriend throw a white party and was polite throughout, even if some of the guests Emelye invited didn’t sit well with him.
Surprisingly, while most of the other couples on the show seemed to be in an on-again, off-again relationship, Hunter And Emelye felt like a breath of fresh air. The couple was always committed to making their relationship work and never let external factors tear them apart. Even the chemistry they shared was undeniable and fans speculated that their connection was meant to last.

As it seems, they both love traveling to new places and always make it a point to celebrate important days in their lives together. Surprisingly, it looks like the couple is quite used to a long-distance relationship as Hunter has been away in Australia for some time. Still, sources say Emelye plans to join her boyfriend in a foreign country.
Interestingly, Hunter likes to publicly profess his love for his girlfriend. Besides posting flirty comments on Emelya’s Instagram account, he even posted adorable pictures of them together to celebrate his girlfriend’s birthday. Meanwhile, Emelye also introduced her boyfriend on her Instagram profile and they both gave each other adorable nicknames.
