FBOY Island is an American dating reality TV series that focuses on three women trying to identify twenty-four men as either womanizers or looking for a serious relationship. The series is hosted by Nikki Glaser and premieres on July 29, 2021, on HBO Max. In August 2021, the series was renewed for a second season scheduled to premiere on July 14, 2022.
Created by Elan Gale, the reality show revolves around three women who must distinguish between “nice guys” and “players” to find the man of their dreams and win a big cash prize at the end of the season.
Season 2, again hosted by Nikki Glaser, sees three ladies—Mia Emani Jones, Louise Barnard, and Tamaris Sepulveda—must navigate a list of 26 bachelors, half of whom are on the show for a serious relationship, while the other half are just in it for the money.
With the beautiful backdrop of the beach and ocean, romance and steamy chemistry between the contestants are a given throughout the series. Cabo San Lucas is popular among tourists for its beautiful beaches, El Arco de Cabo San Lucas, diving, and marine life. The resort thus became an important tourist destination with several attractions and points of interest built on the coast.
In addition, Cabo San Lucas is an ideal location for the filming of several movies and TV shows thanks to its picturesque landscape. Some of the notable ones that used city locations are “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants,” “Troy,” “One Bad Trip,” and “The Heartbreak Kid.”
