The Man Who Fell to Earth Season 1 Episode 10: Recap
The Man Who Fell to Earth Season 1 Episode 10, the end of the season, opens with a flashback where we see Newton and Faraday in their alien forms back at Antheon. Their planet is dying because of the collapse of its atmosphere, and Newton is headed for Earth, saying he will return with help. Back in modern times, Justin and Faraday confronted Newton about his plan to bring Antheon immigrants to Earth.
They were shocked when he continued to reveal that he was only planning to bring Adepts to Earth, leaving, after all, the so-called mentally ill Drones perished. It is also strongly noted that Newton plans to rule the people and make them Drones instead of Adepts arriving from Antheon.
Justin refuses to help Newton activate the new fusion generator she built with Faraday. However, the latter eventually convinces her that will always protect her family. Realizing he must find a way to stop Newton, Faraday stays with him in Cambodia while Justin returns to his family. Meanwhile, at CIA headquarters, Drew Finch blames Agent Lisa Dominguez for killing Spencer Clay and accused the young agent of finding Faraday and his power generator.
Faraday tries to convince Newton to change tactics, but the latter still stands by leaving the Drones behind in Antheon, saying that if he brings them, the Earth will perish. In the end, however, Faraday manages to make Newton realize his mistakes and override his spacecraft and merger generator at Faraday. Since Newton, under Thorne’s nickname, once again controlled Origen, Faraday now finds himself in charge of building a generator.
