Alchemy of Souls Season 1 Episode 5: Synopsis
Alchemy of Souls Season 1 Episode 5, Gwagu catches another soul changer, and Mu Deok thinks she is safe and goes back to search for her sword. Jang Uk begins to search for her and finds her at the right time to save her from Ghost Sapsali, who feels the soul change in her.
Jang Uk asks Mu Deok to flee as he travels and breaks the legacy of the Jin family. Jang Uk is punished by Park Jin for extensive damage, and Mu Deok works for him one last time before finding her body with The Danju, the sect’s leader. Alchemy of Souls Season 1 Episode 5.
Alchemy of Souls Season 1 Episode 2 & 3: Recap
Mu Deok returns to her old home and finds everything in ruins. She leaves a message in her place to find her in an illegal market, selling plaque. She sends a bomb into the air, and Danju receives a signal. They stormed her place and received a message. After retreating, Joo Wol tells Mu Deok that her plaque has been stolen. Danju’s men enter Chwaseollu and grab a woman with a cover. They kill her, and Mu Deok understands that Danju has cut her off from the program, and her life is in danger.
Jin Mu has begged to make him Gwanju from Cheonbugwan as Jang Kang has not returned for many years. Park Jin opposes his proposal, saying that Jang Kang’s son, Jang Uk, is still alive and entitled to be the next Gwanju. Jin Mu says Jang Uk is weak and does not have enough power to be Gwanju. Jin Mu’s request is denied, but he gets permission to burn Naksu’s body and keep her sword. He fraudulently returned Naksu’s body to the attackers when he ordered it inside.
Jin Mu will burn Naksu’s body in public, and Mu Deok will be there to see it. She sees her body burning and finds out that Jin Mu is Danju. Now, she remains attached to Mu Deok’s fragile body. Jang Uk has already taken Naksu’s sword from Jin Mu, for his right as Jang Kang’s son. He gives Mu Deok a sword, and the sword knows its owner.
However, Mu Deok is unable to draw the sword. She does not have the strength to do that. Both Jang Uk and Mu Deok are disappointed, and Jang Uk asks Naksu to live like Mu Deok for the rest of her life but says she can just die and run away.
