Hulu’s ‘The Bear’ is a series of black comedy-drama focusing on the talented and brilliant young chef, Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto, who returns home to pick up his family’s sandwich shop after the tragic death of his brother. In terms of recording scenes that include the Carmy family’s Original Beef sandwich shop in Chicagoland, a team of producers camped at a real sandwich shop called Mr. Beef On Orleans. It is located at 666 North Orleans Street in Chicago and represents the store featured in the comedy series, very well. Additional episodes of the series were recorded at Wicker Park, near North Damen Avenue. It is a famous place known for its art community, hipster culture, nightlife, and food.
