Meanwhile, production designer Stevie Herbert said, “The Bottle Yard’s Tank House 2 studio was the right height and scale to accommodate our Whitehall Palace building. The exterior and interior of the palace were shot down in the area, while the studio building is part of the Palace center, the power seat, where the King meets his Court. Whitehall was a warren-like place, full of hidden corners and large ornate rooms, halls, and living quarters. ” “Becoming Elizabeth.”
